DR. ODIE KENNEDY, PASTOR
Evangelist Missionary, Dr. Odie Kennedy is the pastor of Unity Pentecostal Temple Church of God In Christ. As First Lady and wife of our late pastor, Superintendent Lamar Kennedy, with whom she ministered for over 40 years, she yet remains faithful today and in full support of his mission and vision to “Reach the Lost At Any Cost”. Her labor was never compromised or interrupted as she accepted the pastoral mantle on June 25, 2017 during her ordination and consecration service. This quote reflects her admiration for her husband, "My gratitude is overwhelming for my husband, who was an "Anointed Charismatic Giant' in the religious community."
Pastor Kennedy’s vocation is that of a warrior and her occupation is warfare. She flows in the prophetic realm of the ministry and God's anointing. She birthed the Sister-to-Sister Interdenominational Women's Fellowship Conference more than 20 years ago. This ministry has blessed countless women of various denominations throughout the Denver Metropolitan community. She continues to impact the world through her bi-weekly blog, "Pastor Odie Kennedy's Pearls".
Pastor Odie Kennedy ministers the word of God on numerous religious platforms. She received her Honorary Doctorate Degree in Theology from Denver Urban Theological Institute in 2016. She was also recognized and awarded the Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Legacy Award of Achievement by the National Council of Negro Women, Denver Chapter in 2017.

Late Superintendent Lamar Kennedy
Superintendent Lamar Kennedy pastored Unity Church of God in Christ for 40 years! He believed in ministering to the "whole man", spirit, mind, and body. He never met a stranger. He looked beyond the person and saw a soul in need of a Savior. He welcomed all, reminding the congregation that we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Superintendent Kennedy lovingly embraced his wife, who labored at his side, his family, church, and community. He sought to introduce every person he met to the Lord of his life. He served God faithfully until he was called home.
